China Decorating Workshop this Sunday 3rd Feb. 2013,12-4pm. Just in time for Valentine’s Day…

January 31, 2013
Stokes Croft China runs decorating workshops on the first Sunday of every month in the Stokes Croft China Factory Studios on the Ground Floor of  37-39 Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft.

Take the opportunity to use our eclectic and historic range of  lithographic print from Staffordshire to decorate English Fine Bone China ware of your choice. You will use the work spaces and heaters from Staffordshire’s now-closed factories and will learn the techniques employed by Staffordshire decorators.

You will have the opportunity to create you own designs in your own style, and they will be fired in our kilns on the premises.

And you will only pay just about the same price as decorated ware in our Gallery/shop.

A mug will cost you a tenner to decorate, while a Wedgwood teapot will set you back about fifty quid.
What’s not to like?

Workers from Second Step collecting their finished work after their successful workshop earlier in the year.

This is the type of work for which Stokes Croft China is becoming increasingly renowned.

All of the print employed in this work is available to workshop participants.
Currently, there is no need to book in advance,
but this is likely to change owing to the increasing popularity of our workshops.
