Street Art Now the Norm in Stokes Croft

December 31, 2010

A sharp looking throw up on the practice wall in Ashley Road.

There has been a clear increase in overt political expression, hardly surprising given the political climate. With looming cuts, failure of our Council to counterbalance the overwhelming power of the corporate sector, and the squeeze on squatted buildings, it is surprising that there are not more political slogans on our walls.

The paste up below appeared on Turbo Island.

Work in progress by Kai One and Max up near the Dove St. flats.
